Biography

Arthur was born to Matilda Ann Bartle, 3months before she married James Drayton. I am sure Arthur never knew this as I only found out from extensive research in 1997. He married and died as a Drayton, so I can only hope that James was his real father. My Grandfather Arthur was a hard working man and in later years became much more mellow and so sweet. He fathered 11 natural children..Six to his wife Rebecca Parker Drayton and five kids to his live-in love, Florence Mudiman nee Ross.[Polly] Also was a loving step-dad to Florence's other five kids that she had with her husband Ernest John Mudiman.

Arthur is buried at Church Of England Cemetery behind St. Matthews Church, at Windsor New South Wales Australia.
