Bio: William was originally buried in a small family cemetery in Grayson, Virginia. The cemetery no longer exists. He and other Bartlett family buried in the cemetery were moved to two local cemeteries and buried in unmarked graves. The cemetery had been sold to make way for the Washington Mills Textile Plant which was constructed on the land. THE INFORMATION ABOUT THOSE BURIALS WAS GATHERED FROM FAMILY TRADITION AND RESEARCH DONE BY HOPE B TAYLOR.
