George M. Bartlett was born on 19 Sep 1827 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States, son of Uriah Bartlett (1789–1883).[1]

In 1850, George (22) was living in Kingston, Plymouth with his father, Uriah (60); and Olive Bartlett (54), Frederic W Bartlett (24), Ichabod Bartlett (20), Thomas H Bartlett (18), Robert B Bartlett (17), and Eugene Bartlett (14). [2]

In 1852, George (24) was living in Tuolumne, California. [3]

George passed away on 8 Jun 1854 in Tuolumne, California, aged 26. He was buried in Shaws Flat Cemetery, Shaws Flat, Tuolumne County, California.[4] [5] [6]

Research Notes

Bank histories give "M." as George's middle initial. They also indicate that the cashier at the Quincy bank was Ibrahim Bartlett. Not sure which is wrong, that his father's name was George or that he was the cashier at the Quincy bank.
