Susannah Bartlett, daughter of John and Alice Bartlett, was born 24 Aug 1692 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co. Massachusetts^[1]. She married Francis Inman, b. 1691-94 Gloucester, Providence Co. RI, d. 11 Feb 1776 Cumberland, Providence Co. RI, son of Edward Inman and Elizabeth Bennett. She passed away in 1770.

Norfolk County, Massachusetts was formed in 1793 from Suffolk County, therefore many of the towns in which these families resided, such as Weymouth, were originally in what was Suffolk County. Weymouth, today, is in Norfolk County. The area of Massachusetts which was to become Rhode Island in 1790, was founded by religious and political exiles from Massachusetts, and in 1636 the first settlement was planted at Providence by a gentleman named Roger WILLIAMS. Cumberland, Rhode Island was formed in 1747 and was originally called Attleborough. Glocester, Rhode Island is a Town in Providence County formed in 1731 from part of Providence. It borders Connecticut, offering ready access to Windham County and the Town of Killingly where some of these BARTLETTs relocated. Glocester's Town Hall is located in Chepachet.
