Ebenezer was born 8 Apr 1703, Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph Bartlett-2854 and Hannah (Unknown) Bartlett. Ebenezer had 8 siblings, Hannah, Thomas, Benjamin, Elizabeth-(1), Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth-(2) and Richard. [1]

Ebenezer was married two times. His 1st Marriage: Ann Clark Ann (Clark) Bartlett . Together, they had five children, all born in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. See Below.[2]

His second wife, Ann or Anna (Ball) Bartlett, had the same first name, as his first wife. She was born, 16 Dec 1724 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts and died 28 May 1800 in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts[3]

The name of Bartlett has been very prominent in this town, and the family numerous. They are descended from Joseph Bartlett of Cambridge Village, now Newton, Mass., and were connected with the Clarks and Segars ; they were among the earliest settlers in Bethel.

Ann Clark, June 24, 1736, and had Eunice, Oct. 29, 1735 ; Sarah, Jan. 13, 1738, d. 1748; Mary, July 5, 1739; Enoch, Aug. 8, 1741; Enoch, Sept. 27, 1742. 2d w. Anna Ball, and had Jonathan, Mar. 16, 1746 ; Ann, June 27, 1748, d. 1748 ; Mercy, Jan. 26, 1750; Elisha, Feb. 15, 1753 ; Esther, May 21, 1755; Moses, Nov. 13, 1756 ; Thaddeus, Jan, 20, 1759; Mary, March 12, 1761; Sarah, June 10, 1763; Stephen, April 24, 1765; Abigail, June 26, 1766; and Peregrine. Ebenezer Bartlett died intestate. His widow, Anna Bartlett, requested that their son, Elisha Bartlett of Newton, be appointed administrator of his estate.[27]
