Biography

THOMAS BARTLETT, son of unknown parents, was born 10 May 1670 in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.[1][2][3]

Thomas married 10 August 1690 at Old Rappahannock County, Virginia to PATIENCE BENTLEY. Patience, daughter of Nathaniel Bentley, was born 11 October 1671 in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia. [4] [5] [6]

Thomas died before 1731.

I just removed Thomas BARTLETT 1705 as a son of Thomas BARTLETT 1670. I am the Admin of the BARTLETT Y-DNA Project. These are two separate lines, with significantly different Y-DNA that doesn't match for over 10,000 years! The only known son of Thomas 1670 is William. There is no known father for Thomas 1705 of Richmond Co, VA. I have searched the courthouse records and cannot find his parents. I conclude that he was probably the immigrant - perhaps an indentured servant. The quest continues for matching Y-DNA in England....
