Richard Bartlett (3rd in lineage) , born in Newbury Feb. 21, 1648-9. He was a yeoman, currier and cordwainer, and lived in Newbury. He married Hannah Emery Nov. 18, 1673. She died May 1, 1705, aged fifty; and he died April 17, 1724, aged seventy- five.

Elizabeth Bartlett (60) April 13, 1725; he d., childless, in 1746, his will, dated Oct. 10, 745, being proved Sept. 15, 1746; he belonged to the Third church in Newbury, to which he bequeathed twenty pounds; she d., his widow, in 1753, her will, dated July 31, 1753, being proved Nov. 12, 1753; she also belonged to the Third church in Newbury, to which she bequeathed a silver tankard.
