Biography

George Herbert Bartlett, son of George and Mary, was born 26 Oct 1839 and baptised 26 Feb 1841 in Andover, Hampshire, England. ^[1]

He married Mary Goodwin 9 Nov 1862 in Meopham, Kent. ^[2]

He married Elizabeth Wharton in 1867 in St Giles, London. ^[3]

George and Elizabeth, with George's son Thomas, emigrated to Australia on the Mikado, arriving in Melbourne in Sep 1870. ^[4]

He passed away in 1903 ^[5] and was buried in Rookwood Cemetery.
