Biography

Percy Ludelle was born in Newburgh, Maine, in 1881, the only son of the six children born to Ephraim Bartlett and Catherine Bachelder.

He was living in Augusta, Maine, by 1900, working as a farm hand at the Maine Insane Hospital. He married Ethel Brockman on September 6, 1902. In 1910, he was living with his wife and their 2 children with his mother in Newburgh. He was a blacksmith with his own shop.

Percy died of tuberculosis in Augusta, Maine, at the age of 32. His wife gave birth to their third child short after his death.
