Daughter of Everett Eugene Bartlett and Luella Juliette Tuttle (married 27 November 1894) Her grandparents were Horace Bartlett and Phoebe M Aldrich Bartlett (paternal) and Manning Tuttle and Emmeline Hann or Hawn Tuttle (maternal)

She was the middle child of 3 girls (that show up on census records). Her elder sister was Marjorie Tuttle Bartlett Abbott (1896-1974) and her younger sister was Thelma A. Bartlett (married name unconfirmed but possibly Knap, born 1910).

She married Robert Austin Allen. According to censuses, she is the mother of two children: Roberta D. (b ~1927/1928) and Grace (b. ~1929/1930). Grace is inexplicably listed as Frank Allen (but a daughter) on the 1930 census, and Ruth is listed as Irene Allen. 1940 census lists her as "McRuth".

In 1900 census, she was age 2, and lived in Springfield, MA with parents Everett E Bartlett and Luella J Bartlett, along with sister Marjorie Bartlett. The 1910 census record for her seems to be missing, as I cannot find it. In 1920 she is living in Springfield with her parents and her younger sister, Thelma. (She is not to be confused for Ruth BARLETT living in Cambridge, MA, who was married to a Forest Barlett. They are not the same person.) In 1930 she lived with her husband and 2 children in Enfield, CT, but 1940 found her with her parents again in Springfield, MA.

She died at age 83, and is buried alongside her husband in Longmeadow Cemetery, Longmeadow, MA, which borders Springfield.
