Elizabeth, her husband James and their two daughters emigrated from England to New Zealand, travelling on the ship Clifton, sailing from London on 2 October 1841 and arriving into Wellington on 17 February 1842.
They had about four children after their arrival in New Zealand.
Her husband passed away in 1894 at the age of 80.
She passed away in 1908 at the age of 96.
