Biography

Isaac was born about 1741 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He passed away 15 Feb 1810 in Oley, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Barbara Maurer, daughter of Jacob Maurer and Sophia Lisabeth, who was born around 1737 and died in 1797.

He owned property in Ruscombmanor Townsship, Berks County

He served with Captain Focht's Co., Militia, 5th Class in 1777.

Oley Twp. Berks County, Pennsylvania Estate Records, 1752-1914. [1]. His will was hand written in German on 7 Feb 1807. It was probated in Feb 1810 from Berks County PA, will book 10, page 556. His children are mentioned in the will, Jacob, Catherine, John Henry, Isaac and Sophie.

In 1790 he was living in Oley Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. For the census there were 2 free white males 16+yo, 1 free white male under 16 yo and 2 females.

Per the estate records, Issac Barto died in 1810 in Oley Township, Berks County.
