John Henry was born on February 18, 1905 in Tennessee.[1]
He worked as a supervisor at Swift Spinning Cotton Mill in Columbus, Georgia.[1][2]
He was affectionately called "Big Daddy" by all of his grand-children due to his large frame and height of 6'4".[3]
John Henry passed away on March 20, 1962 at the young age of 57 and is buried at Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.[4][5][6]
