Biography

Samuel and Lois had four daughters, Celeste (Jones), Frances (Coggins), Margaret, and Dorothy.^[1] Samuel's older brother, William, married Lois' older sister, Ora Belle.

Sam moved several times between Tennessee and Georgia. He also lived in California for a time.^[2]

The family would attend community Fourth of July Picnics each year in Jasper, Tennessee including Wis' brothers and their families.^[2]

Samuel went by his middle name of Wis. (Spelling as is on back of family photos)^[2]
