DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Isaac by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Isaac:
My husband, Glenn Isaac Barton is a descendant of David Barton > Isaac Murphy Barton, SR > Isaac Murphy Barton, JR. > William Glenn Barton >> Glenn Isaac Barton. He has taken the autosomal DNA test on Ancestry, and on FamilyTreeDNA, he has taken the autosomal, the mtDNA, and the Y-DNA 111. We would very much like to get in touch with DNA matches and/or anyone who knows any of the history of this family. We already have a lot, but always would like to know more!
Thanks, Dee Ann Barton
