Pearce Barton was born on 2 April 1873 in Gongolgon, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of Pearce Barton and Victoria Polhill and the brother of Sarah Sophia Barton, Charles Pearce Barton, Bessie Margarite (Barton) Greig, Horace Dean Barton, Ernest Wilfred Barton, Victoria Mabel Barton, Henry Foote Barton and Alice Beatrice Barton.
He married Daisy Isabel Wenban in 1907 in Cargo, New South Wales, Australia [2] and they were the parents of Ella May (Barton) Buckle, Roy William Barton, Roy Wenban Barton, Gwendoline Doris (Barton) Gillam and Colin Pearce Barton.
Pearce died on 18 January 1937 in Greenmount, Queensland, Australia [3] and was buried at Greenmount Cemetery, Cambooya, Queensland, Australia [4]
