Biography
Cordova Melville Barton was born at Livermore, Maine, on 30 Oct 1835, the son of Aaron Barton and Pamelia (Foster) Barton.[1]
A gravestone at the Richardson Cemetery in Livermore Falls, Maine, says that C. Melville Barton died on 28 May 1857 at the age of 21 years, 7 months. (The FindAGrave memorial transcribes the date inaccurately as 28 May 1837).[2]
