Ann Barton was born on 27 Apr 1821, and christened on 1 Jul 1821 at Houghton Street Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Prescot, Lancashire. She was the daughter of George Barton and Elizabeth (Cross) Barton.[1]
By June 6th 1841, they were living in New Brighton, Eccleston. George was a watch maker. Baby Martha was ten months old. Ann was probably living with her parents still; she appears to be listed in their household, though she is right at the end out of age order after all their other children, and since it's the 1841 census relationships are not specified. Her being listed at the end might mean she was a niece or something, but probably she was their daughter and just listed out of order.
