Biography
William M. Barton was born on July 25, 1833, in Cheshire, England to Henry and Nancy (Wyatt) Barton. He married Drusilla Anna Steele Barton and they had nine children together. He then married Anna Ella Smith Barton and they had three children together. He died on May 3, 1919, in Winterset, Iowa, and was buried there.
