Son of Edmund and not to be confused with Richard Barttelot (1563/4-1614) son of Robert.

Richard Bartlett of Stopham, son of Robert Bartlett and Mary Apsley, husband of firstly of Mary Covert by whom he had Walter and William, and secondly of Rose Halton, by whom he had Richard, Robert and Mary.^[4]
