Henriette Bartz was born on October 17, 1831 in the town of Königsdorf in Kreis Wirsitz of the Posen Province in Preussen(Prussia) to Johann Bartz and Rosina (Meyer) Bartz. She was the fourth/fifth (twin) of their 7 children. Henriette was baptized on November 6, 1831.[1][2]
Marriage
On December 7, 1852, at the age of 21, Henriette married Carl Schwarz in the village of Bonkowo in Kreis Wirsitz of the Posen Province in Preussen(Prussia).[3]

Julius August (1869-1951): Married Ida Zenk (1872-1947), 6 children.
Immigration
On June 4, 1866, at the age of 34, Henriette and Carl, along with their children, arrived in New York aboard the S.S. Hermann traveling from Bremen, Germany. Henriette was pregnant at the time.[4]
Death
On December 20, 1891, at the age of 60, Henriette passed away in Pleasant Mound, MN. She is buried in South Saint Johns Cemetery in Blue Earth County, MN.[5][2]
