Embarked with A Company 26th Reinforcements on 9 June 1917 from Wellington - destination Devonport, England. Posted to 2nd Battalion Auckland Regiment on 11 October 1917. Embarked for NZ on "Briton" on 17 June 1919, disembarked on 23 July 1919. discharged on 20 August 1919
