Jane Hunt (formerly Lewis or Bass) was born in 1763, according to Hunt researcher Jimmy Hunt, Jr... "William & his wife & all grown children moved from Pendleton District (currently Pickens County area) in about 1822 for Alabama. He sold his land on Doddys Creek in SC. So its likely most of his children were born in SC. I have located two descendants of this family."[1]
