DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Samuel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage (beta) of DNA with Samuel:
Clarence Almon Torrey, New England Marriages Prior to 1700 (Boston, Massachusetts: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2011) Vol. I, p. 104. Six entries for Samuel Bass of Braintree, but he seems to suppose they could be three different people.
Is it just me or are there no real sources for Samuel here? Find a Grave is not sourced and the other mention of a "source" is a website that only says "This is the default page for alden.org" and the link for Samuel goes to an error 404 page.
The four "sources" link back to itself.
Because of this I suggest applying the unsourced template. Thanks!
