Joseph was born in 1665. He was the son of John Basse and Ruth Alden.

He passed away in 22 Nov. The John Alden Society Database says 22 Nov 1732/33 but there is no double dating in Nov.[1] Roser's Mayflower Births and Deaths sasy 22 Nov 1733.[2]
