Mary was born in 1781 in Ashford, Connecticut, the daughter of Samuel Bass and Hannah Woodward. She married Ebenezer McIntire (aka McIntyre or Mcintier) in Charlton, Massachusetts on 11 Jun 1809, becoming his second wife. They had seven known children:

Lutina McIntire b. 30 Jul 1816 @ Charlton, d. 15 Apr 1895 @ Worcester;
Harriet W McIntire b. 22 Jul 1818 @ Charlton, d. 30 May 1892;
David M McIntire b. 15 May 1820 @ Charlton, d. 27 Aug 1894;
Amos Augustine McIntire b. 10 Aug 1822 @ Charlton.
Mary passed away in 1859 at the Waterford Village, Worcester, Mass and is buried at the Bay Path Cemetery, Charlton, Mass.
