Bass-1505 and Bass-179 do not represent the same person because: Very little in common, different parents

Bass-5398 and Bass-179 are not ready to be merged because: conflict in birth/death dates & places needs to be resolved.
Are there any documents/sources to prove the birth/death dates & places? This profile appears to be a match for a profile I manage, William Bass, but the birth/death dates don't match. And I would like to have agreement on these before agreeing to a merge.

Bass-5398 and Bass-179 appear to represent the same person because: William Bass & his wife Cecelia Branch had daughter Mary Bass who married William Walthall; other info also matches

Eric if your project would like to contribute to this profile by conducting some research I think that would be welcome. But your last comment was rude and seemed to be a threat. I don't appreciate threats. I will freely admit that I don't have time to devote the attention that this needs. So if you do I am happy to back out and let you have my spot. But I would prefer that this be done as an amicable transaction rather than a hostile takeover. Does wikitree support hostile takeovers?

You have 24 hours. You can either source, or the Project will. Those that are obstructive will be removed. There is enough info in the bio to find those source. Leaders should know better and set an example

When the research is provided that establishes they are the same person, I will accept a merge. But until then I will not.
They have different Parents because no decent research has been done. The share the same spouces because they married more than once. This profile is targeted for management by Southern Pioneer Project
