Biography

Samuel Bass immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Samuel Bass, son of Samuel and Anne (Sevelle) Bass, was born in England. He was christened on 11 may 1626 at Saffron Walden, Essex, England[1] [2]

He married Mary Howard.[2][1]

Samuel died before May 1653 as as the inventory of his estate was taken May 1653.[2][1] Samuel died Intestate, and his estate was managed by the two grandfathers of his son Samuel, Robert Howard and Deacon Samuel Bass. Mary resigned her widows third and the estate was equally divided between mother and son.[2]
