Ronald Basset was a member of the aristocracy in England.

He was the son of Arthur Francis Basset and Rebecca Harriet Buller Salusbury-Trelawny.^[1]He was born on the 30th of November 1898, at Schidy Illogan, Cornwall, England.^[2]He married the Lady Elizabeth Legge, daughter of William Legge, 7th Earl of Dartmouth and the Lady Ruperta Wynn-Carington, on 31 October 1931^[1]at Kensington, London, England.^[3]He died in 1972 at Newbury, Berkshire, England.^[4]
