Biography
Richard Bassett was born in 1792 in St Enoder, Cornwall, England, son of John Bassett (~1767–~1858) and Mary Williams (<1772–<1860).[1]
Richard (29) married Mary Williams (28) (born before January 12, 1794 in Kea, Cornwall) on May 22, 1822 in St Enoder.[2] Their children were:

- Elizabeth Bassett (1826–1869)
- Mary Bassett (~1829– )
- Richard Bassett (~1832– )
Richard died on September 19, 1862 in St Columb Major, Cornwall, United Kingdom, aged 69.[3]
