Eleanor married Thomas Henderson on 24 March 1886 in Sailors Gully, Victoria, Australia.[2]
She passed away on 27 February 1929 at the age of 62 from Syncope caused by the extreme heat in person with a fatty heart in Kirkwood rd in California Gully, Eaglehawk.[3][4] She was buried in Eaglehawk Cemetery in the same grave as her husband Thomas Henderson in Section: MON K6 Grave Number: 20. The grave has a footstone that reads "T. & E. Henderson"[5]
Sudden Death Mrs Helen Law Henderson 63 of Kirkwood St., died suddenly yesterday evening. Mrs Henderson was about yesterday in her usual good health when she saw her son off to work. During the afternoon her daughter Mrs E.H.Jobson called around to see her. She found her mother sitting between two rooms. She complained of the heat and of the fact that she was not feeling well. Later in the evening when Mr.George M. Henderson son came home he found his mother no better. He sent for Dr. Lyons but the doctor arrived he found her dead. Senior Constable Bickerton reported the death to M.J.H.Stewart deputy coroner who after viewing the body and taking evidence of identification adjourned the inquest until tomorrow morning.[6]
Henderson - A wide circle of friends both in Eaglehawk and Sailors Gully will regret to learn of the unexpected death of Mrs. Helen Henderson widow of Mr. Thomas Henderson at her residence Kirkwood at., Eaglehawk on Monday evening at the age of 63 years. Deceased who was born in Sailors Gully and lived all her life in Eaglehawk leaves a family of 11 and 38 grandchildren to mourn her loss. The husband predeceased her by five years. The funeral yesterday was attended by many relatives and friends. The casket covered with flowers, was carried to the grave by her six sons - William, James, Stanley, Thomas, John and Robert. Service home was conducted by Rev. Henry Clarke who also officiated at the grave. Mr. W.Farmer had charge of the funeral.[7]
Eaglehawk, Woman's Death Before Mr.J.H.Stewart JP at Eaglehawk yesterday the inquest was resumed into the death of Mrs.Eleanor Henderson which occurred suddenly on Monday evening. After hearing evidence by Robert Henderson and Dr Lyons, Mr. Stewart Found that the death was due to syncope.[8]
