Marie-Rose Bastarache was born on May 20, 1736 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of Pierre Bastarache and Marguerite Forest.

Marie-Rose (18) married Charles-Alexandre Gaudet (1754) in 1755. Their known daughter was Marie Gaudet (May 7 1756 – unknown).

Marie-Rose died on Aug 12, 1756 in Canada, Nouvelle-France, aged 20.
