Ann Bastian was born at Crowan, Cornwall, on 23 May 1833 and baptised there on the 16th of June. She migrated to Australia on the ship Java, which arrived 6 Feb 1840. Ann died at Willunga, South Australia, on 14 Nov 1860, and was buried in the Willunga Uniting Cemetery.
