Congratulations on getting your Acadians Project badge. Thank you for your interest in the Project and for offering your help and expertise in genealogy. If you would like to be a member of the Acadians Project Google Group, where we share information about the Project and can ask and answer questions, you will need to adjust one of your settings that has been disabled: it is the one that allows to be added directly to groups. Let me know if you would like to be part of the Google Group.

Hi again! When you hit a pre-1500 profile on the trail, let me know. I can copy the bio into the workspace I set you up for you at Space:Magna Carta Sandbox (vi)
I want to welcome you to the Magna Carta Project as a member. We are very glad to have you join us. I see Liz has gotten you badged and you have selected Peter Bulkeley as your Gateway. That should be an interesting profile to work on.
Let me know if you have any question about the Project or what we do as members. Our basic task (task sounds like work and it is that but it is fun too) as members is to develop the ancestal lines between Gateway Ancestors and their famous ancestors, the Magna Carta Surety Baron, or Barons (often they are related to more than one) . Once we develop these trails and the associated profiles, they are reviewed for accuracy and compliance with Project and Wikitree standards. If they pass the muster (and we work hard to make certain they do}, we give the line our "stamp of approval". The result is a well written, accurate family line between the Gateway Ancestor and Surety Baron...a proven, project approved lineage.
Thank you for joining us in this endeavor Richard. I look forward to working with you !
Give me or David a holler if you have any questions, or you can post in G2G (Magna_Carta) or to the Google Group (that group is tied to WikiTree-36, the project account). When you send a request to join the Google Group, please include your WikiTree ID (I don't always recognize a person by their e-mail address).
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!
Start with our New Member How-To pages. These will save you a lot of time and answer many of your questions as you begin to add your family tree.
We are delighted that you have decided to join us and hope you will have many pleasurable ancestor hunts!
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

Since you manage a number of Prentice profiles I invite you to check-out the new One Name Study for the Prentice surname. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Prentice_Name_Study
