He and his wife were admitted to the Kingston Church Jul 18, 1736, be he became an original member of the East Kingston curch Jul 17, 1739, and was chose deacon there Mar 1, 1759. He married at East Kingston Feb 1, 1732/3, Dorothy Boynton, dau. of William 7 Joanna Stevens), who was b. in Newbury, Mass. Dec 12, 1715, and was living at date of her husband's will.
