Biography

Ann Batchelor was born in Worcestershire, England.

Ann was christened in Tredington to William and Sarah Batchelor on August 9th, 1795.

Ann married John Dyer in Tredington on November 6th, 1817. They are in the 1841 census in Tredington with their family.

Ann and John are also on the 1851 census, still in Tredington. This census lists her birth place as Armscote, with John being from Blackwell, he is about 11 years older than her.

On the 1861 census Ann and John are still in Blackwell. Her age is incorrectly listed as 45, it should be 65.

Her death is recorded during the first quarter of 1865 in the Shipston on Stour District. The GRO website gives her age as 69.
