Mary was born about 1793 in South Petherwin, Cornwall, England.
It is unclear when Mary emigrated to Australia. Did she travel alone or with her husband? Did she come out before or after the Jenkins family in 1848? She doesn't appear on the David Malcolm manifest with her daughter and family. What we do know is that she died of old age at Trewinna Farm, near Riverton, South Australia, the residence of her grandson Samuel Jenkins. Samuel was the informant on her death certificate.
