Biography
James Bateman was born about 1825. He was the son of John and Hannah Bateman. He was baptised on 29 January 1826 at St Matthew, Rastrick, Yorkshire.[1]
He married Delia Stoney on 12 August 1849 in Elland, Yorkshire. He was recorded as age 24 and the son of John Bateman.[2]
