The couple reports they have been married for 21 years. All report they and their parents were born in Kentucky. The home is owned, valued at $3,000 and is at 239 Forest Avenue. All report they were born in Kentucky and were living in the same house in 1935. Chas completed 4 years of high school and Pauline completed two years. Cha is an electrician and earned $1,465 the previous year. ^[5]

Charles H Knipfer, born 6 Apr 1911, died 29 Sep 1943 at St Elizabeth Booth Hospital. He was employed at an electrician at General Electric Company. He was married to Pauline Bates. His parents are listed as Henry Knipfer and Clara Bechtold. Cause of death was meningitis. He was buried at Highland Cemetery. ^[6]
