Probate
Hie will is dated 30 June 1750 and proved on 6 August 1750 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Rachell, and his cousins, Lemuel Bate (who is living with him), and Elizabeth Bate, and his sisters, Susannah Thomas, Elizabeth Bate, and Mary Campbell, decd., his brother Benjamin's son, Eleazer Bate.

His inventory was recorded on 1 July 1751 in Plymouth.[3]
In 1752, an account of the estate is recording, paying debts and other estate charges.[4]
