Francesco Battaglia has Italian Roots.
Francesco Battaglia was born about 1763 in Valledolmo, Palermo, Sicily, son of Vincenzo Battaglia (1730–1765) and Giuseppa Ferranti (~1730– ).
Francesco married Anna Maria Leta (born in 1770 in Valledolmo, Italy; daughter of Pasquale Leta and Stefana (Dispenza) Leta). Their children were:
- Calogera Battaglia (~1786–1836)
- Santa Battaglia (1787– )
- Giuseppa Rosaria Maria Battaglia (1788–1875)
- Vincenzo Battaglia (1793–1851)
- Cosimo Battaglia (1802–1866)
- Orazio Battaglia (1803–1866)
Francesco died on June 8, 1824 in Valledolmo, aged 60.[1]
