Biography

Humphrey Batten was son of Robert Battyn and his wife, Joan Walrond of Wood. ^{[1] [2][3]}

He married Catherine Carminow, ^{[2] [3]} daughter of John Carminowe of Fentongollen in Cornwall, ^[1] and his wife, Philippa Trenowith. ^[4] They were parents of three daughters, Phillip, Maria and Joanna. ^{[1] [2]}

Humphrey died on the 15th of November 1552. ^[5][1]
