Charlotte was born "unnamed female" at Heidelberg, Victoria in 1856. [1]
Seh died 13 April 1883 at Whittlesea, aged 26. [2]

- BATTEN.—On the 13th April, at Glenvale, of phthisis, Charlotte Jane, aged 26 years, the much beloved eldest daughter of the late Richard and Mary Jane Batten. Deeply lamented by her sorrowing friends. [3]
