She passed away in 1893, at the Homeopathic Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Elizabeth Jane Batten was born in London in 1836, daughter of William Batten (1789-1837) & Norah Austin (1797-1865), William & Norah married 3 Jan 1815, London. They had 13 children (6 Sons & 7 Daughters).
On 21 July 1863 Elizabeth Jane Breach and Richard William Ovenden were married at St Peter's Church, Islington. London Metropolitan Archives; London, England; Reference Number: p83/pet2/013.
On 3 September 1867 Elizabeth Jane Ovenden and Charles Heath were married in the dwelling house of Mr Chambers, New Zealand. [1]
On 15 October 1870 Elizabeth Jane Heath and Moses Breach were married in Whakahara, New Zealand. [2] Marriage announcement, Daily Southern Cross, 22 Oct 1870, page 2.
Elizabeth Jane Batten Breach died on 16 Aug 1893 (aged 56) and is buried at the South Side Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania [3]

- Elizabeth & son Douglas arrived in Auckland, NZ from England on 29 August 1867 aboard "Merrington" after an awful trip lasting 141 days. The ship departed on 18 April 1867. Elizabeth married Charles Heath 4 days later. The marriage had been arranged by Charles' sister Anne. At the time of Charles' death Lizzie was left with two small sons and was pregnant.
