I solemnly swear that I was born at Tipton, Staffordshire, England on or about 8 Apr 1898; that my husband Alder Dunn was born in England, that he emigrated to the United States sailing on board the Cecilian from Liverpool, England on or about 2 Mar 1901; that he resided 22 years uninterruptedly in the United States from1901 to 1923 at Dayton, Ohio; that he was naturalized as a citizen of the United States before the Federal Court of Naturalization at Dayton, Ohio 22 Nov 1921 as shown by the accompanying certificate of Naturalization; that am the wife of the person described in said certificat; that I have resided in the United States uninterruptedly for 3 years from 1920 to 1923 at Dayton Ohio, that I am domiciled in the United States, my permanent residence being at Dayton, in the state of Ohio, where I follow the occupation of Housewife. Doris died on 18 Oct 1982 and was buried at Dayton National Cemetery. [8] Her date of birth was given as 8 Apr 1898 which matches that on her passport application. [9]
