Biography

John Batten, son of John Batten and his wife, Bridget Holmes was baptised in 1694.[1]

John became a shipwright so must have been apprenticed as a boy.

John wrote his will on the 30th of August 1759. Probate was granted on the 4th of March 1760.[2]
