Biography
Ernest was baptised on 29 January 1801 in Westerleigh by parents Robert and Susanna. [1]
In 1822 Ernest married Mary Cowles in Westerleigh. [2] Mary died aged 34 in 1837 and was buried in Westerleigh on 12 April.
Ernest married again later that year. His wife in census records was Elizabeth so perhaps his spouse was probably Betty Taylor. [3]
Ernest died on 5 August 1871 at his home, Kendalshire, Westerleigh, Gloucestershire. [4]
