Biography

Benjamin S Battles b. 07 Feb 1808 Readsboro, Vermont[1] is the son of Benjamin Battles and Polly Blanchard.

He married Amanda Melinda Puffer in 1832 in Bennington, Vermont, where he served in the House of Representatives.

Children include:

  1. Julia Maria Battles b. 1833 - d. 22 Dec 1921 Readsboro, Vermont, United States[2] married Charles H Bishop
  2. Joseph Battles b. 1835 in Readsboro, Vermont. On 18 Sep 1860 married Sarah Glazier in Bennington, Vermont[3]
