Benjamin S Battles b. 07 Feb 1808 Readsboro, Vermont^[1] is the son of Benjamin Battles and Polly Blanchard.

He married Amanda Melinda Puffer in 1832 in Bennington, Vermont, where he served in the House of Representatives.
