Richard E. Bauer, age 80, formerly of Waukegan, passed away November 7, 2007 in Palmetto, Florida, born May 24, 1927 in Waukegan, Illinois. Richard retired from Commonwealth Edison after 40 years of employment. He is survived by his son, Kurtis (Tamara) Bauer, formerly of North Chicago; and his sister, Barbara (Orban) Skaggs of Waukegan. He was preceded in death by his wives, Jean in 1974 and Bernardine in 1993; as well as his son, Craig who was killed while fighting for his country in Vietnam. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2007, 4 to 7 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Road, Gurnee, with a Funeral Service on Friday at 10 a.m., also at Marsh Funeral Home.
