Mae Elizabeth Baughman was born on 12 Dec 1885 in Woodward Township, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Stacy C Baughman (1862 - 1922) and Anna L (Mills) Baughman (1869 - 1944).

Mae married Aaron Tate Rowles , son of Joseph H. Rowles and Ruth Ellsworth Hickok, on 27 Dec 1909^[1] in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.

Their children were:

1. Cora Helen Rowles (1910 - 1998)
2. Ashley L. Rowles (1912 - 1983)
3. Wava E. Rowles (1913-1916)
4. Anna Ruth (Rowles) Duncan (1916 - 2011)

OLANTA – Mrs. Mae Elizabeth Rowles, 88, of Oland R.D., died at the Clearfield Hospital yesterday at 7:45 a.m.
      She was born Dec 12, 1885 in Woodward Township, the daughter of Stacy and Ann (Gilliland) Baughman.
      She was a member of the Mr. Zion Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society of Glen Richey.
      She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Cora Hoyt of Oland R.D., Ashely Rowles of Hyde; Mrs. Robert (Anna) Duncan of Hollisdaysburg; and Stacy Rowles of Morrisdale R.D.. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and a brother, Clark Baughman of Houtszale R.D.
      Her husband, Aaron T. Rowles, predeceased her in death in 1955. Her parents, one daughter, a grand-daughter, two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
      Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home. The Rev. William Norman will officiate, and interment will follow at Bloomington Cemetery.
      Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 p.m. today until time of services Wednesday.
